Dr. Shelley Spurr is a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Nursing. She holds degrees including BSN, RN, MBA, and PhD. Her work focuses on health promotion, diabetes education, and interprofessional education (IPE). She leads interdisciplinary research on Indigenous community-led Type 2 Diabetes interventions (HOPE project) and the Keeping Hope Possible (KHP) Toolkit for families with seriously ill children. She teaches pediatric clinical courses and integrates IPE into practicums.
