Dr. Marcella Ogenchuk is a tenured Associate Professor in the University of Saskatchewan's College of Nursing. She holds a BSN and MN from USask and a PhD in Education Administration from the USask College of Education. With over 25 years of nursing experience across acute, community, rural, and remote settings, her research focuses on pediatric substance use prevention, oral health, and community-led care pathways. She has developed tools for early identification of alcohol use disorder and resources for families affected by addiction.

Research Interests: Dr. Ogenchuk prioritizes community-based participatory research, particularly in pediatric substance use prevention and oral health. Recent projects include developing school-based wellness initiatives and resources for families in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
