Shelley Jackson is a Professor at The European Graduate School / EGS. She has held teaching positions at Brown University, MIT, Pratt Institute, and NYU's MFA Writing Program. Born in the Philippines in 1963, she earned an AB in Art from Stanford University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Brown. Jackson is renowned for pioneering hypertext fiction and experimental literary projects like SKIN, a tattoo-based narrative. Her work interrogates themes of identity, communication, and the monstrous, blending literary and visual arts.
