Dr. Shelanda Gonsalves is an adjunct professor at C.W. Post Long Island University, where she has taught graduate engineering management courses since 2011. Simultaneously, she serves as Lead Program Manager for Energy Procurement at National Grid, focusing on renewable energy contracts and greenhouse gas regulation in the Northeast United States. Her career combines academic instruction with industry leadership in electrical engineering and management.
- Education: PhD in Management (Walden University, concentration in Engineering), Master of Science in Engineering Management (C.W. Post Long Island University), Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (Stony Brook University)
Her research explores leadership pathways for women engineers, particularly within utility sectors. As an alumna of Stony Brook University's Electrical Engineering program, she actively mentors students through extracurricular engagement and professional guidance.
