Sheiva Rezvani

Sheiva Rezvani serves as Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Programs at the ATLAS Institute, University of Colorado Boulder, where her socio-technological work bridges art, design, and critical media studies through unconventional approaches to social exploration.

Her educational foundation includes a BA in Sociology from the University of California and a Master's degree from New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program, culminating in the TEDx presentation "A History of Fashion and Science of Sex."

Research focuses on media archaeology (examining obsolete "dead media" technologies across past/present/future), sexuality studies through technological lenses, and waste systems, employing playfulness and whimsical design to dissect complex social dynamics in digital-physical hybrid spaces.

She leads the Helio Lab at ATLAS Institute, an interdisciplinary space fostering experimental projects at the intersection of socio-technical critique and creative practice.
