Dr. Sheila Bennett is a Professor in the Department of Educational Studies at Brock University's Faculty of Education. With a career spanning classroom teaching, special education, and policy development, she focuses on inclusion, special education policy, and support systems for students with disabilities. Her research emphasizes pedagogical change, service integration, and the voices of students and families. Key works include Special Education in Ontario Schools (8th Ed.) and contributions to journals like Exceptionality Education International and International Journal of Inclusive Education.
Dr. Bennett has secured significant funding, including SSHRC grants and partnerships with organizations like the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation.
