Dr. Pamela Cushing is an Associate Professor at the University of Western Ontario, specializing in Disability Studies, Social Inclusion, and Care Systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from McMaster University (SSHRC-funded), an M.A. in Anthropology (OGS-funded), and a B.Com from Queen's University. Her research explores cultural systems around disability, ethical caregiving, and experiential education through ethnography and qualitative methods. She teaches courses like DS 1010 (Exploring Disability) and DS 2201 (Rethinking Disability).
