Dr. Shawn P. Gallagher is a full Professor in the Department of Psychology at Millersville University, where he has been a faculty member since 2003. His teaching portfolio includes courses on Sensation and Perception, History of Psychology, Statistics, and Cognitive Science. With a background in Biology and Behavioral Neuroscience, his research bridges psychology and ophthalmology.
- Education: B.S. in Biology/Vertebrate Physiology from Penn State University; Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Delaware
Dr. Gallagher's research focuses on age-related visual perception changes, post-surgical visual adaptation, and interdisciplinary applications of neuroscience. His recent publications examine pandemic-induced dream patterns and chemotherapy effects on ocular health.
