Shawn Ogunseye is an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems at Bentley University. His expertise bridges technical systems analysis and organizational strategy, emphasizing how information systems design impacts business performance. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations & Information Management from Canada, alongside advanced degrees in Computer Science from Nigeria.
Research focuses on data repurposability, adaptive sociotechnical systems, and responsible AI. He explores how system design choices affect data longevity and decision quality in dynamic environments. Recent work examines misaligned incentives in AI systems and strategies for sustainable innovation.
Consulting interests include enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and agile practices. Prior roles include a postdoctoral fellowship at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia, and industry experience in software development and IT management.
