Shawn MacLellan

Shawn MacLellan is an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of New Brunswick, researching bacterial gene regulation mechanisms.

Research Focus: Characterization of atypical σ factors in Bacillus subtilis and their role in stress response. Studies protein-protein interactions in transcriptional machinery.

Teaching: Leads courses in biochemistry, gene expression, and cellular metabolism. Trains students in molecular techniques.
