Shawn Ginwright is the Jerome T. Murphy Professor of the Practice at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), focusing on trauma, healing, and empowering African American youth. His work emphasizes 'healing-centered engagement' to address systemic inequities faced by urban youth. He co-founded Flourish Agenda, Inc., a research lab and consulting firm focused on youth empowerment and community-driven change. Previously, he served at San Francisco State University and chaired the California Endowment’s board.
