Research Focus
Enarth investigates structural barriers to equity and sustainability in developing economies through the lens of decentralization and democratization processes. His work emphasizes community-led governance models for equitable utilization of natural and human capital, drawing from policy research conducted with NGOs in India and World Bank consultancy in Africa. Current research examines geopolitical constraints on sustainable development in resource-dependent communities.
Professional Background
Prior to his current sabbatical, Enarth held a senior leadership position at BASIX Social Enterprise Group, an Indian consortium of 15 organizations dedicated to scaling sustainable livelihoods. His career bridges academic theory with grassroots implementation, focusing on fiscal/administrative decentralization against centralized political economies.
