Dr Sharon Yahalom is a Senior Lecturer in the Student Academic Support Unit (SASU) within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University. She specializes in supporting Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) nursing students, focusing on language and clinical communication skills development. Her PhD in Applied Linguistics from The University of Melbourne underpins her research, which explores CALD nursing students' clinical placement experiences, language in healthcare contexts, and English for Specific Purposes (ESP).
