Sharon Lloyd is a Professor of Philosophy, Law, and Political Science at the University of Southern California (USC). Her work focuses on the history of political philosophy, with a particular emphasis on Thomas Hobbes, as well as contemporary liberalism and feminist philosophy. She was mentored by John Rawls and has explored the theories of Machiavelli, Mill, Marx, and Rawls. Lloyd’s interdisciplinary research intersects with legal scholarship, and her publications have appeared in law reviews.
