Alison McQueen is an Associate Professor of Political Science and courtesy faculty in History at Stanford University. She holds the Nehal and Jenny Fan Raj Civics Faculty Fellowship in Undergraduate Teaching. Her research focuses on early modern political theory, the history of International Relations thought, and the interplay between religious discourse and political philosophy. Notably, her work examines apocalyptic themes in the writings of Machiavelli, Hobbes, and Morgenthau, as well as Hobbes's evolving strategies of Scriptural argumentation.
