Sharon Landesman Ramey is a Research Professor and Distinguished Research Scholar at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC, affiliated with Virginia Tech. She holds additional roles as a Research Professor in the Department of Psychology (College of Science) and a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine (School of Medicine). Her research focuses on early human development, intervention for children with disabilities, and implementation science in public policy.
Education: Earned a Ph.D. and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle.

- Development of evidence-based treatments for children with disabilities

Grants & Funding: Extensive NIH-funded research including the CHAMP trial and studies on maternal stress/prenatal health. Collaborates with institutions like UCLA and NIH StrokeNet.
