Dory A. Wallace

Dory A. Wallace serves as Associate Director of Clinical Research and Implementation at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute, Virginia Tech, where she leads the Neuromotor Research Clinic and collaborates with the DeLuca, Ramey, and Landesman Ramey laboratories. Her role centers on translating research into evidence-based clinical practice for pediatric neurorehabilitation.

Wallace specializes in developing intensive therapy protocols for children with limited evidence-based interventions, particularly quadriparesis and global developmental delay. Her flagship work involves ACQUIREc Therapy (a Pediatric Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy exemplar), where she has treated over 300 children during 15+ years of clinical supervision. She focuses on creating scalable rehabilitation frameworks that generate lasting functional improvements through high-dose, task-specific training.

As Associate Director, Wallace oversees clinical trial implementation and therapist training across multiple labs.
