Dr. Sharon Glazer serves as Professor and Chair of the Division of Applied Behavioral Sciences at the University of Baltimore with over 25 years of expertise in teaching, consulting, and research. Her work focuses on cross-cultural dimensions of occupational stress and organizational behavior, supported by major grants including Fulbright, Erasmus Mundus, and NASA.
Her academic credentials include:
- PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Central Michigan University (1999)
- M.S. in Applied Psychology from the University of Baltimore
- Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health
Dr. Glazer's research integrates cross-cultural psychology with workplace stress management, examining how cultural contexts influence occupational health. Her international collaborations span stress management frameworks across European academic institutions and organizational settings.
She has held significant leadership roles including Treasurer of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (2007-2017) and Editor of the International Journal of Stress Management (2010-2015).
