Sharmin Khan is a Lecturer in Linguistics and Language Development at San José State University's College of Humanities and the Arts. Her research interests include writing pedagogy, second language acquisition, and language planning in South Asia.
She holds a Master's in Applied Linguistics from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy from the University of California, Berkeley.
