Sharlet Rafacz

Dr. Sharlet Rafacz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Western Michigan University (WMU), where she also serves as faculty in the Industrial Organizational Behavior Management program. She previously held academic roles at California State University, Fresno and Savannah State University.

Education: Ph.D. (2009) and M.A. (2004) from University of Nevada, Reno; B.S. (2001) from Utah State University.

Research focuses on rule-governed behavior in organizational settings, workplace health interventions, and behavioral economics applications. Key areas include improving workplace conditions through OBM principles, enhancing employee cooperation via incentive systems, and promoting healthy food choices in diverse environments.

Teaching spans courses in applied behavior analysis, behavioral research methods, organizational behavior management, and health psychology. Professional service includes editorial board membership for Journal of Organizational Behavior Management, past presidency of the Organizational Behavior Management Network, and roles in professional organizations like the Association for Behavior Analysis International.
