Sharla Biefeld is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Alabama, affiliated with the Center for Youth Development and Intervention (CYDI) and leading the BODY Lab. Her work examines how bodily experiences influence social interactions and development. She holds a PhD and MS in Developmental Psychology from the University of Kentucky and a BA in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
