Shanti Weiland is Senior Instructor in the Department of English at University of Alabama. Her creative work focuses on poetry and literary arts, with publications including the collection Sister Nun which explores themes of identity, spirituality, and sexuality through poetic narratives.
Education includes Ph.D. in Poetry from University of Southern Mississippi, M.A. from Northern Arizona University, and B.A. from University of California, Davis. She teaches courses in creative writing and literature.
