Dr. Shanta Dey is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Work and Organisational Studies at the Sydney Business School, University of Sydney. She holds a PhD in Cognitive/Clinical Psychology from the University of New South Wales and has completed postdoctoral research at McGill University and Yale University. Her work focuses on employee wellbeing, team safety, and compassionate care in healthcare, exploring the interplay of cognitive processes and workplace factors on mental health. She has published in journals like Human Resource Management and Australian Journal of Management, and her research has been featured in media outlets including the Sydney Morning Herald and ABC.
Shanta’s research interests include decision-making styles, work design interventions, and mental health in digital workplaces. She is a member of the Body, Heart and Mind in Business Research Group, which integrates psychology, management, and medical sciences to improve employee performance and well-being.
