Professor Shankar Madathil holds the Chair in Power Electronic Systems at the University of Sheffield, within the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. His academic journey began with a PhD in Engineering from Cambridge University (1992), preceded by a Master's in Semiconductor Technology (1986) and MSc in Applied Sciences (1984) from PSG College of Technology, India.
