Shamsul Masum

Dr. Shamsul Masum is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Technology, School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, University of Portsmouth, and a member of the Portsmouth AI and Data Science Centre. He is actively involved in research, teaching, and supervising PhD students.

Research Interests: His work focuses on data analysis and prediction models using machine learning techniques. Key areas include healthcare (e.g., intradialytic hypotension prediction, cancer outcomes), engineering (aerial forest fire detection), and medical imaging (prostate MR segmentation).
