Shakila A Taleb

Shakila A Taleb is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Immunobiology at Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Taleb's research focuses on the intersection of immunology and microbiome science, particularly examining how gut microbial imbalances contribute to disease pathogenesis. Her work explores the complex relationship between host immune responses and microbial communities, with special attention to gastrointestinal and hepatic complications in genetic disorders.
