Shahnaz Biggs is a Lecturer and Research Student at the School of Humanities and Social Science, University of Brighton. Her work focuses on social enterprise organizations, university-community partnerships, and the decolonization of academic curricula. She has contributed to initiatives addressing race equality and knowledge exchange between institutions.
Education: Completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) through the University of Brighton's Doctoral College.
Research Interests: Explores how universities generate social and economic value through collaborative knowledge production. Specializes in researcher reflexivity and the role of academic institutions in societal development.
Publications: Authored a 2020 book chapter on decolonizing curricula and co-authored a study on interdisciplinary research leadership between South African and UK collaborators.
