Shabbir Ahmed

Shabbir Ahmed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at South Dakota State University (SDSU), specializing in AI and Robotics. His research focuses on structural health monitoring, lithium-ion battery systems, and advanced signal processing techniques. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2022), an M.S. from North Dakota State University (2017), and a B.S. from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2013).
