Dr. Seyed Ghaffar is the Head of Engineering at the University of Birmingham's Dubai campus and an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Brunel University London and is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE). His roles include Editorial Board membership for Elsevier's Results in Engineering and co-authorship of Springer's Innovation in Construction.
