Sevilay UZUNALLI

Prof. Sevilay UZUNALLI is a Professor of Law at Yaşar University's Faculty of Law, where she has held significant administrative roles including Dean (2018–2021), Vice Dean, and Head of Department. She earned her Ph.D. in Private Law from Dokuz Eylül University in 1999 and has authored numerous books on Commercial Law, Competition Law, and Intellectual Property. Her research focuses on trademark law, competition agreements, and digital markets. Notable awards include multiple Alexander von Humboldt Scholarships and the Çağa Law Award (2007–2008).

Her academic contributions include over 15 publications, including articles on trademark registration, anti-competitive practices, and online sales restrictions under Turkish Competition Law. She has advised numerous graduate and PhD students on topics ranging from corporate governance to intellectual property disputes. Prof. UZUNALLI has also held visiting scholar positions at universities in Germany, including Goethe University Frankfurt and Heidelberg University.
