Research focuses on public health nursing frameworks with specialized expertise in mental health literacy, violence prevention, and nutritional interventions. Current investigations examine breastfeeding sociocultural contexts, adolescent mental health help-seeking behaviors, and disaster-response nursing protocols through mixed-methods approaches. Her scholarly identity integrates clinical practice with academic innovation in Turkish and international health contexts.
Recent publications (2022-2025) reveal three dominant thematic clusters: (1) Mental health systems analysis including stigma reduction in psychiatric nursing and mindfulness applications; (2) Community health dynamics covering vaccination attitudes, cancer screening beliefs, and elderly communication; (3) Violence epidemiology addressing bullying, gender-based violence, and disaster-related trauma. Methodologically, structural equation modeling and cross-sectional surveys predominate across Turkish population studies.
As an educator, she develops curricula for research ethics, epidemiology, and public health nursing courses while mentoring graduate students in thesis supervision. Administrative responsibilities include strategic planning for health vocational education and departmental resource allocation across multiple academic units.
