Seth Martin

Seth Martin, MD, MHS, is a Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Director of the Advanced Lipid Disorders Program and Digital Health Lab at the Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease. His work bridges preventive cardiology, lipidology, and digital health innovation, with a focus on improving cardiovascular outcomes through big data and technology-driven solutions.

Scientific Awards include the Frederick L. Brancati Excellence in Mentoring Award, Stanley L. Blumenthal MD Cardiology Research Award, and Cardiology Today Next Gen Innovators Award. He has mentored >70 trainees and serves as Firm Faculty Leader for the Barker Firm of the Osler Medical Residency.

Dr. Martin’s lab prioritizes multidisciplinary teamwork and clinical translation of research findings, with active projects like mActive-Smoke and Google Health Search Trial. His editorial roles include Associate Editor for the Journal of Clinical Lipidology and European Journal of Preventive Cardiology.
