Serje Robidoux is an Adjunct Professor at Macquarie University's School of Psychological Sciences and a member of the Centre for Reading. His research focuses on reading development, child psychology, and the intersection of learning disorders with mental health. He has led projects such as COGCOD (Cognition of Coding, 2018–2022) and 'Modelling letter-position coding in visual word recognition' (2012–2014).
His work examines how reading skills correlate with emotional and behavioral outcomes, particularly in children. Recent studies include longitudinal analyses of Finnish children's reading and emotional development, and systematic reviews on physiological anxiety markers in youth. He also investigates interventions like shared book reading programs and their impact on family dynamics and child development.
