Sergio Salinas Rodríguez

Sergio Salinas Rodríguez holds a PhD in Desalination and Water Treatment from the Technical University of Delft (Netherlands) and an MSc in Water Supply Engineering from UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education. He also holds a Master's in Irrigation and Drainage and a BSc in Civil Engineering from San Simon Major University (Bolivia), along with the University Teaching Qualification (UTQ) from the Netherlands. He serves as a key figure in the desalination and membrane technology research line at IHE Delft (www.desalination-delft.nl), leading research on fouling control, membrane processes, and water reuse systems.

His work addresses challenges like particulate fouling, calcium carbonate scaling, and removal of micropollutants.
