Dr. Sergio Lo Iacono is a quantitative sociologist and Lecturer at the University of Essex. His research investigates social trust dynamics, sustainable behaviors, and migration impacts through experimental and computational methods.
Key research examines how natural disasters and pandemics affect social cohesion, the role of trusting environments in collective action problems, and contextual influences on intergroup attitudes toward asylum seekers.
