Prof. Dietrich Oberwittler is a sociologist and criminologist affiliated with the Max Planck Institute and the University of Freiburg. He holds the title of Extra-Curricular Professor of Sociology at the University of Freiburg and leads the independent research group Space, Contexts, and Crime at the Max Planck Institute.
