Sergio Chapela Lopez is a permanent full-time professor at the University of Vigo, affiliated with the School of Industrial Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Machines and Fluids. His research focuses on Thermal Machines and Engines within the EM1 GTE (Energy Technology Group) at the Industrial Technologies, Energy and Processes Research Center in Vigo.
His primary research interests include
- CFD simulation of fouling and particle deposition mechanisms in biomass combustion
