Sergio Bonini is an Associate Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Trento's Faculty of Law. He graduated cum laude from the University of Bologna in 1994 and earned a PhD in Criminal Law from Trento in 1999. His research focuses on criminal law's general principles, labor-related criminal issues, and doping regulation, with an emphasis on the symbolic and instrumental functions of criminal law.
