Serena Pollastri is a Lecturer in Urban Futures at Lancaster University's Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts (LICA), part of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS). Her work focuses on visualizing coastal and urban futures through interdisciplinary collaboration, combining environmental science with community engagement. She advises PhD student Juan Montalvan Lume.
Key research projects include the Morecambe Bay Timescapes initiative (2021-2022), Biodiversity Logbooks (2020-2021), and the E3 series of projects addressing aqueous futures and participatory sensing.
