Seraina Rodewald

Seraina Rodewald is a PhD candidate at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München under Prof. Kadereit. She is affiliated with the Department of Systematics, Biodiversity, and Evolution of Plants within the Faculty of Biology. Her research focuses on phylogenetics, biodiversity, biogeography, ecophysiology, evolutionary biology, and CAM photosynthesis.

Her current project involves constructing a phylogeny of the genus Kalanchoe (Crassulaceae). Collaborations include institutions such as Nelson Mandela University (South Africa), The Steinhardt Museum of Natural History (Israel), and Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany).
