Her research explores how experience shapes dance perception, utilizing fMRI to analyze brain mechanisms such as the temporoparietal junction, orbitofrontal cortex, and retrosplenial cortex. Key themes include motion perception, functional connectivity, and collective audience responses to performative arts.
Recent publications emphasize neural correlates of dance appreciation, intersubject correlation in group settings, and biological motion processing. These works bridge cognitive neuroscience and performing arts, with methodologies spanning neuroimaging and behavioral studies.
She has served as an international jury member for prestigious ballet competitions (Varna, Russian Open) and contributes to artistic direction in ballet productions. Collaborations with colleagues like F.E. Pollick highlight her interdisciplinary approach.
