Dr. Selma Walther is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Economics at the University of Sussex Business School's Department of Economics. She holds a PhD, MPhil, and BA (First Class) from the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on Labour Economics, Family Economics, and Health Economics, with a particular emphasis on household decision-making, fertility trends, and policy analysis. She serves as a Research Associate at CERGE-EI and a Research Fellow at IZA, alongside roles at the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
