Research Interests
Dr. Oh’s scholarship centers on two primary axes: the canonical works of Shakespeare, Milton, and Ben Jonson, and the emergent voices of Asian-American and Korean-American literature. He interrogates how narratives negotiate cultural translation, diasporic identity, and the politics of representation, often bringing Renaissance critical lenses to bear on contemporary ethnic texts.
Publication Landscape
Across more than two decades, his refereed articles have charted a trajectory from early-modern race and colonial discourse to post-9/11 multicultural narratives, consistently foregrounding interdisciplinary methodologies that fuse close reading with cultural theory.
