Sebastiaan Rothmann

Sebastiaan Rothmann is a Professor in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Director of the Optentia Research Focus Area at North-West University (Vanderbijlpark Campus) since 2010. Previously, he served as Professor and Head of the Department of Human Sciences at the University of Namibia. His academic journey includes completing a Master’s degree (1986, cum laude) and PhD (1996).

Research Interests: Rothmann specializes in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, focusing on workplace well-being, job crafting, self-compassion, and employability.
