Sean Sachdev

Sean Sachdev, MD is Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He specializes in brain/spine tumors and genitourinary cancers with expertise in GammaKnife, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and image-guided radiotherapy. His clinical work spans Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

His educational background includes an MD from Stanford University (2011), Internal Medicine internship at UC San Diego (2012), and Radiation Oncology residency at Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center (2016). Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, he maintains active hospital affiliations across Northwestern Medicine's network.

Dr. Sachdev's research focuses on synergistic approaches using highly-conformal radiotherapy for CNS and genitourinary malignancies. His work emphasizes translational applications including stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT) for oligo-metastatic disease and bladder preservation strategies. Recent publications demonstrate expertise in glioma management, melanoma brain metastases, and sarcoma treatment response.
