Associate Professor Sean Edward Kennedy is a faculty member at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), serving as the Program Authority for UNSW Medicine, Education Lead for the UNSW Randwick Clinical Campus, and Head of Paediatric Nephrology at Sydney Children's Hospital. He holds a PhD from 2010, focusing on renal ischaemia-perfusion injury mechanisms. His expertise spans clinical care, research, and medical education, with a focus on kidney diseases, transplantation, tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), and adolescent chronic illness management.

- Research Leadership: Member of ANZSN Policy & Quality Committee and former Manager of ANZDATA's Paediatric Working Group (2011–2017).
His research investigates molecular mechanisms of TSC renal tumours and clinical outcomes in paediatric kidney disease. He is also engaged in medical education reforms, curriculum design, and student wellbeing initiatives.
