Scotty Stepp serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music at DePauw University, maintaining an active international performance career across the United States, Europe, and China. His professional engagements include performances at the United States Embassy in Paris and the German-American Fulbright Program's 50th-anniversary conference in Berlin.
Stepp's artistic focus centers on Music Performance with specialized expertise in Saxophone, Chamber Music, and Orchestral Performance. His collaborations span multiple continents, featuring appearances in Greece, Cyprus, and Italy alongside major symphony orchestras including Indianapolis, Chicago Civic, and the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki.
Notable recognitions include:
- Fulbright Fellowship (2001-2003) for study in Paris under Jean-Yves Fourmeau
- Harriet Hale Wooley scholarship
- First prize at the 1998 National Saxophone Competition
- Semi-finalist at the 1998 International Adolphe Sax Competition
