Anne Kunkle serves as a Saxophone Instructor at the Eastman Community Music School (ECMS), part of the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. She concurrently holds roles as Assistant Director of the Eastman Saxophone Project (ESP) and mentor for the New Horizons Music program, engaging with diverse student populations from youth to adult learners.

- Bachelor of Music with High Distinction (double major: Saxophone Performance & Music Education) from Eastman School of Music
- Master of Music from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
- Doctor of Musical Arts candidate in Saxophone Performance and Literature at Eastman School of Music
Artistic Focus: Kunkle specializes in extended saxophone techniques and cross-genre repertoire integration, with significant contributions to chamber music through the Khroma Saxophone Quartet. Her work bridges classical traditions with contemporary arrangements, notably adapting Shostakovich and Liszt for saxophone ensembles. She actively promotes lifelong music education through community programs targeting non-traditional student demographics.

She maintains active performance partnerships with major orchestras including Singapore Symphony and Illinois Wind Symphony.
Ensemble Leadership: Directs the Eastman Saxophone Project’s educational outreach and repertoire development, with recent emphasis on transnational collaborations following tours across China. Co-leads Khroma Saxophone Quartet’s competition strategy and Midwest Band Conference engagements.
