Scott Welford is a tenured Professor of Radiation Oncology and Biology Division Chief at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine's Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. He serves as Co-Leader of the Tumor Biology Research Program and Associate Director for Faculty Development at SCCC.

Recent publications highlight work on Notch1/ChK1 inhibition, polyamine metabolism, biomarkers for glioblastoma, and DNA repair oncogenic pathways. Key collaborations span Stanford, Case Western, and NCI programs.
