Scott Wall is a Professor and Residency Director at the School of Architecture within the University of Tennessee, Knoxville's College of Architecture + Design. He is a registered architect, author, and artist with professional experience in Houston, New Orleans, and Knoxville, and has taught at Rice University, Georgia Tech, Tulane University, and the University of Tennessee.

His research and creative work focuses on Finnish architecture and design culture, particularly the representational qualities of mapping techniques. He is currently working on a book titled 100 Maps of Finland and has led the College’s Finland Summer Architecture Institute since 2003. Awards include a Fulbright Fellowship in Finland (2003).
